Thank you for joining us for our Stampin’ UP!® Demonstrator Monthly Team Blog Hop! I am so happy that you could join us today for this blog hop for ideas and creative inspiration. I am thrilled to be taking part in a blog hop with fellow demonstrators, from all over the world, who are part of Kylie Bertucci’s training program. There is no theme for the hop, but there is sure to be some inspirational projects using Stampin’ Up! products.
This card is made from one of my favorite suite’s in the Sale-a-bration catalog. It is called the Peaceful Poppies and it just occurred to me that this will make great veteran’s cards in November. Read below on how to make it and check out the inside of the card.
- I started out with Rich Razzleberry card stock cut at 4 1/2 X 11; scored on the 5 1/2 mark.
- Then take a whisper white 4 x 5 1/4 and run it through you big shot with your favorite embossing folder to make a beautiful texture to the front of the card. Glue it to the front of the card base.
- Next cut a piece of Rich Razzleberry card stock to 2 3/4.
- Find the sheet of DSP that matches with the card stock in your Suite and cut that to 2 x 2 and glue it to the Rich Razzleberry. I then attached it to the card with dimensionals.
- I took some scrap whisper white and stamped Happy Birthday from the Beautiful You stamp set and glued it onto a Rich Razzleberry piece of cardstock. I attached it with dimensionals on the left side and glue on the right side so that it would look right.
- Take some Peaceful Poppy sequins and attached them with glue dots to give it the final touch.
NOW! Take a look at the inside below:
I love the way this card pops open when you open it. It’s not that hard to make either. The directions are listed below:
- I cut a strip of Rich Razzleberry 10 1/2 x 1 1/2 and folded it in half and then each side in half as well. This gives you four equal sections to glue the rectangles on.
- Cut (4) Rich Razzleberry rectangles 2 1/4 x 2 3/4 and glue then on the strip.
- Cut (4) of the Designer Series Paper 2 x 2 1/2 and glue them on the rectangles.
- I stamped the sentiment on the DSP and punched it out with the Tailored Tag punch.
- Take the flowers and velum paper from the Suite and attach to (3) of the rectangles.
- Use a scrap of whisper white so that you can write your message.
That’s it! Surely this card will impress the one that you send it to and let them know how much you care.
Don’t forget to scroll down and check out the rest of the cards that are in the blog hop. Thanks for stopping by.
